Piano
Children can start piano lessons as early as 5 years old. We combine The Suzuki and traditional methods of teaching our youngest students. There are many good books published in teaching beginning piano. For beginning students we recommend The Alfred or Bastien methods. They are both good methods, and either one can be used. These books have age appropriate material, so that an adult beginner and a child beginner are taught at the proper level for their intellectual development. Both of these series also have fun supplemental theme books, such as cowboy, jazz, and pop books etc. Teachers will advise students of their preferences.
